NumVault (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides a privacy-first identity and communication protection service, including temporary phone numbers for SMS-based account verification. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using NumVault, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a unique account identifier managed via our authentication provider, Supabase.
Transaction and order data. When you purchase a temporary phone number or top up your wallet, we collect and store the phone number issued to you and the service it was purchased for, the verification code received on that number for the duration needed to complete your verification, order status, timestamps, amount paid, your in-app wallet balance, and transaction history.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your card, bank account, or full payment credentials—Paystack handles this directly. We receive and store only the transaction reference, amount, and status of each payment.
Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token provided by Expo so we can notify you about order status, such as an OTP being received or an order expiring.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Process number purchases and deliver verification codes to you
- Process wallet top-ups and payments
- Send you order and account notifications
- Provide customer support
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the service
- Comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Service Providers

Data Retention
We retain your account and order history for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with financial recordkeeping obligations and to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; see Section 07.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access-controlled databases, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
